Call for applications for National and International Non-Traditional Exchange (NINE) Programme 2017

Applications are invited for the National and International Non-Traditional Exchange (NINE) Programme 2017.

The NINE is a programme to train and mentor participants in the full science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) spectrum of Radio Astronomy using bilateral partnerships led by the National Radio Astronomy Observatory (NRAO).

The NRAO NINE programme has a vested interest in building a pipeline of talent within the radio astronomy field, and within the under-represented community.

The anticipated outcome of this programme will be worldwide partnerships with fast growing radio astronomy communities designed to facilitate the exchange of faculty and the co-mentoring of underrepresented groups of students.

Applications close at the end of January 2017 followed by the NRAO undertaking a final selection by March 2017.
