About the Position

SARAO has an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources Administrator to join our team based in Carnarvon, Northern Cape. The successful incumbent will provide quality HR compliance and administrative support to day-to-day HR operations ensuring the efficient delivery of HR services.

Minimum education requirement:

  • National Diploma in Human Resource Management

Minimum work experience required:

  • 2 years’ experience in a HR Administration role

Desirable additional educational, work experience, and personal qualities:

  • Computer literacy and experience in MS Office applications or Google Sheets
  • Knowledge of labour legislation (BCEA, EEA, SDA, COIDA, LRA)

Duties include (but not limited to):

  • Take responsibility for the administration and coordination of individual and part-time training for the Northern Cape
  • Update and maintain staff records
  • Assist with recruitment and selection as well as staff movement
  • Compile and maintain reports
  • Conduct HR induction and providing staff support
  • Monitor staff time and attendance
  • Handle additional HR related duties as assigned
